Dave Garza, DVM / Owner
Dr. Dave Garza graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986. He owned and operated a very busy mixed animal practice in Austin, Texas for 15 years. After selling his practice in 2009, he and his family moved to New Zealand to work in a general, reproductive and referral equine practice. He also worked in Lexington, KY, practicing high level reproduction and horse performance medicine. Dr. Garza has extensive experience in general, preventive, surgical and geriatric health care. Dr. Garza and his family relocated to North Carolina in 2013, and is proud to call the Sandhills area home.
Laura Diem, DVM
Dr. Laura Diem graduated from the University of Florida in 2011. She has had a varied career as a veterinarian, serving as a small animal practitioner in San Antonio, TX and Kailua, HI then transitioning to working dog medicine by serving the US Army Veterinary Corps in Fort Drum, NY as well as Fort Bragg, NC. After leaving military service, she worked within civilian working dog medicine and returned to small animal general practice where she has been able to expand upon her interests in medicine and dentistry. Outside of work, Dr. Diem enjoys camping and hiking in the mountains of North Carolina, as well as visiting the coastal regions with her husband and two children.
