No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy

 Our no-show and cancellation policy applies to missed appointments, which include:

  • No-show: Failure to arrive for scheduled appointment, and no attempt to reach out to cancel. 
  • Late arrival: Arrival 15 or more minutes past appointment time. 
  • Late cancellation: Cancellation of appointment less than 24 hours before appointment time.


If the account has a history of three or more missed appointments in a 12-month period, a non-refundable prepayment of the exam fee will be required at the time of scheduling future appointments. Continued missed appointments will be considered a discontinuation of the veterinarian-client-patient relationship and approval will be needed prior to reinstatement.


You can help us ensure all patients have the appointment access they need by: 

  • Arriving on time for your appointments.  
  • Understanding that arrival 15 or more minutes after the appointment time may require rescheduling your appointment. 
  • Notifying us at least 24 hours in advance if changes to a scheduled appointment is needed. Notification can be via phone, email, or text (at the same number your appointment confirmation is sent).


We understand there are times when an appointment must be changed due to emergencies and, as such, exceptions to this policy will be granted on an individual basis.
